Because the Chinese have a secret to DODGING the harmful rays of the rising sun

And PROTECTING you from UV radiation… and even skin cancer… from the inside, out!

It’s an ancient berry trick, discovered in the pages of one of the oldest medical texts known to man.

But you won’t find this brightly-colored fruit at your local farmers market or produce stand!

A crown jewel of skin protection

If you’ve already heard about goji berries (Lycium barbarum and Lycium chinense), you might think there’s NOTHING that this “superfruit” can’t do.

Untrustworthy marketers have misrepresented its 2,000-year record in Traditional Chinese Medicine – where it’s known as “wolfberry fruit” – and tried to turn it into some kind of “miracle cure” for just about everything.

Some even claimed that it can help you live longer than 200 years!

Unfortunately, those misrepresentations of its medicinal powers created a backlash

And now, you’d be hard-pressed to find ANY mainstream source that gives ANY credence to the goji berry’s health benefits.

But while it’s not a cure-all… it’s not powerless, either.

There’s plenty of science that confirms how it can help fight skin cancer.

The “lycium fruit” (Lycii fructus) – as it’s referred to in the scientific literature – was first mentioned in the oldest Chinese text of herbs, called “Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing.”

It’s gained the reputation of being so valuable… the Chinese now call goji berries “red diamonds.”

Now, lots of colorful berries are packed with antioxidants that can detoxifyreverse free radical damage… and beat back inflammation.

But what makes the nutrient-dense fruit of the goji shrub REALLY special is the presence of two special antioxidants:

  1. heme oxygenase-1 (HOX-1, an enzyme)
  • (MT, a protein consisting of several amino acids)

Both of these have been found to help shore up the immune system to protect against photodamage from UV radiation.

That means they can also protect your healthy cells from getting BURNED by traditional radiation therapy for cancer.

This antioxidant-based “photoprotection,” however, isn’t enough on its own…

Because cancer cells can hijack its mechanisms and use them to THEIR advantage – unless there’s something ELSE simultaneously working against them.

That’s where its polysaccharides step in.

And goji berries have got PLENTY of them.

These “red diamonds” are also LOADED with another skin-protecting compound — beta-carotene.

This orange pigment protects the colorful skins of the fruits and vegetables it’s found in.

And when you eat it, it can protect YOUR delicate skin, too!

In China, goji berries are eaten raw… but they don’t travel very well. So, in this country, you’ll more likely find them sun-dried (like a raisin) or in powdered form.

It’s worth looking a little harder… and spending a little extra money… to get goji berry juice.

According to the studies done so far, that’s the best way to MAXIMIZE your protection against free radical damage from the sun.
