Oklahoma is latest battleground in fight against forced vaccination
Where there’s a risk, there must be a choice.
That’s become the slogan for Oklahoma parents who are now locked in a fight for what should be a basic right.
I’m talking about the right to decide which chemicals are pumped into their kids’ bodies.
For months I’ve been warning you that states are passing laws that would throw kids out of school unless they roll up their sleeves for every vaccine under the sun.
Now a new bill called SB 830 has popped up in Oklahoma. It would end forever parents’ rights to decide which vaccines are appropriate for their kids.
And politicians are telling one very big lie to make sure it becomes the law of the land.
She knows exactly what’s at stake.
You see, when Sydney was a young child, she lost the use of her legs for days after a frightening reaction to a vaccine.
And with risks like these, she says it’s a no-brainer that parents should be able to decide which vaccines are right for their kids.
But if SB 830 passes, it won’t be mom and dad calling the shots – it’ll be Big Brother.
SB 830, unfortunately, is just like bills I’ve been telling you about in places like California and New York. If kids want to step foot inside an Oklahoma school, they’ll have to get every single vaccine the state requires.
And parents will never be able to refuse vaccines based on personal or religious grounds again.
Now bullying parents and kids into dangerous shots they don’t want is bad enough. But the lie these politicians are telling to sell the public on SB 830 is practically criminal.
State Senator Ervin Yen, who is sponsoring the bill, had the nerve to claim that Oklahoma is seeing a spike in whooping cough and measles cases because of kids skipping vaccines.
Are you kidding me? Somebody get this guy an Internet connection – or at least a newspaper subscription!
It’s not unvaccinated kids causing whooping cough and measles to come back. We’ve known forever that it’s the vaccines themselves!
I told you just weeks ago about a whooping cough outbreak at a Florida preschool where nearly all the kids who got sick had been vaccinated.
And that’s because the whooping cough shot (called the Tdap vaccine) lasts about as long as a soap bubble. It’s so ineffective that kids have to get six booster shots by the time they turn 12 – and it’s still not working.
A study just published in Pediatrics found that the Tdap vaccine is such a dud that some docs are now saying kids may need a shot every single year.
Plus, it’s been proven that both Tdap and the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine can “shed” viruses. That means that once kids get vaccinated, they can actually become contagious and pass the disease onto others.
When researchers studied the 2014-2015 measles outbreak that started at Disneyland, they found that lots of the people who caught measles had been vaccinated – in some cases, more than once.
Of course, Senator Yen is actually a doctor by trade, so you can bet he knows all this. And he ought to know that forcing the MMR shot – which is made with cells from aborted babies – on kids is a disgusting assault on religious freedom.
But Senator Yen isn’t backing down at all. He says he’s going to keep pushing for SB 830 until it gets passed.
That’s why, when these bills crop up, we need to push back even harder.
Even if your state isn’t considering any forced vaccination bills right now, it’s still important to contact your reps and let them know where you stand on the issue.
Because it’s much easier to keep our liberties than to try and win them back once they’re lost.
