How dare they! CT forces chemo on dying teen

When the right to make our own medical decisions is taken away from us, well, that’s the beginning of the end of our most personal form of freedom.

And the state of Connecticut is working hard to take away that right. That is, to force us to do exactly what others believe is the best course of action regarding our health.

What that state’s Supreme Court decided last week is nothing less than a threat to our basic human rights as citizens of the United States of America.

Sadly, this new regime of medical dictatorship has stopped a 17-year-old teen from finding options to treat her cancer that don’t involve toxic, invasive methods.

And because she dared to challenge the dogma of mainstream medicine, it looks like they’ve decided to punish her.

If Cassandra had committed a crime, no doubt the Connecticut court system would be fighting hard to charge her as an adult.

After all, she’s smart, well-informed and knows how to make her own decisions. And, she’ll be turning 18 in September.

But Cassandra’s only crime is that she got sick with Hodgkin’s lymphoma last year.

And now she’s being told — by court order — that she must submit to risky and toxic treatments. Treatments that Cassandra believes will likely cause more harm to her body than her cancer will.

Cassandra and her mom know perfectly well how serious her condition is. But what they also know is how dangerous chemotherapy is.

That’s why the teen wants to try alternative methods of treating her cancer. Ones that won’t be pumping “poisons” into her body.

It’s absolutely unbelievable that this intelligent girl will not be allowed to seek other, less harmful options. That she’s being forced, against her will, to receive what the state believes is in her best interest — as if the state somehow cares more about whether Cassandra lives or dies than Cassandra and her mother.

And it’s not like Cassandra didn’t listen, or try to do what her doctors ordered. She did agree to two chemotherapy treatments last year. And then she refused to take any more.

And she was so adamant about it, that in November she ran away from home.

But here’s where Cassandra’s story gets even more unbelievable.

With the support of her mom, Cassandra returned in order to seek alternative methods to treat her cancer. But the hospital where the girl was given those two chemotherapy sessions reported her mom Jackie to the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF).

And that agency took custody of Cassandra and ordered Jackie to cooperate…or else.

The DCF even went before a court to make sure it would get its way.

And it did.

Despite everything the girl and her mom tried, all of Casandra’s rights were taken from her. The Connecticut court ruled the DCF now has total control to make all medical decisions for the teen!

Cassandra has the full support of her mom, who backs her daughter’s right to make her own choices 100 percent.

Cassandra is “intelligent enough to make this decision on her own,” says Jackie. And “she does not want poisons in her body.”

What’s going on in Connecticut is a horror that must be stopped. It is a complete and utter violation of this girl’s human rights.

Are they now going to hold her down or tie her up to pump these toxic chemicals into her?

How far will the courts go in letting doctors behave like dictators?

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
