New case study adds evidence that vitamin C is a potent cancer-fighter
Little by little, one patient at a time, we add to the growing evidence that vitamin C therapy – also known as intravenous ascorbic acid (IAA) – may turn out to be a revolutionary cancer treatment.
In previous e-Alerts I’ve told you about individual case studies in which IAA therapy was effective in these cancers:
- Lung cancer that spread to the brain
- Kidney tumor
- Bladder tumor
- Lymphoma
- Prostate cancer
- Breast cancer
A report in the UK’s Daily Mail details the most recent IAA case study.
When orchestra conductor Denis Vaughan was diagnosed with prostate cancer 12 years ago, his doctor advised a watchful waiting approach. But last year, Mr. Vaughan’s PSA levels suddenly spiked, indicating that the cancer might have become more aggressive. The patient rejected his doctor’s advice to undergo radiation therapy. Instead he began a regimen of 75 grams of IAA in weekly sessions.
After seven weeks, Mr. Vaughan’s PSA level dropped to a nearly normal level and he and his doctor have returned to watchful waiting.
You can find more information about the latest IAA research in the e-Alert “The Mouse that Roared” (8/19/08).
