The secret to making yourself ‘fat-proof’?!
The real reason why you still can’t drop the weight
Dear Reader,
Sometimes I wonder why we even bother making those New Year’s resolutions.
Especially the ones about losing weight. It seemed like we had so much time back in January. And now, even after the longest winter ever, the tee shirts and shorts have somehow snuck up on us again.
So if you’re still wearing that oversized sweatshirt and the “big” pants, it’s time to try something different. Especially if you’ve already cut tons of your favorite foods out of your diet — and added countless walks around the block and miles on the treadmill.
But if all those things didn’t work, there may be a very good reason.
Once you learn this secret about how fat cells work, you’ll stop beating yourself over the head.
And even though beach and pool weather is right around the corner, it’s not too late.
You still have time to revive that resolution, or to make a new one right now!
Because what the researchers discovered could turn out to be the secret to making yourself “fat-proof.”
You might call this the mystery of the mice who couldn’t get fat.
Fourteen years ago — while the world was still in a tizzy with Y2K worries — researchers in Maryland were in their own little world looking at, well…fat mice. They wanted to see how their genes might be different from those of the thin ones.
And what they found was astonishing. It was like a fat “switch” that they could turn off. Once they turned that switch to off, it didn’t matter what those mice ate or how little they exercised.
Nothing could make them fat.
What they uncovered was a secret protein that sabotages weight loss. It’s called perilipin. Its release is triggered by a gene that both mice and people have. And they found that this protein actually coats fat cells, making them stronger and harder to burn.
Other studies found that levels of this protein can be higher in some people. And guess who those would be? People who are overweight!
The researchers knew back then they had probably uncovered the biggest breakthrough ever for weight loss.
So what became of this great discovery?
Well, the big news never made it past science journals. It seemed that only fat mice would be coming out ahead.
But recently another group of scientists from the well-respected UC Davis Medical Center were able to connect the dots. They discovered two natural extracts that make the fat-protecting protein vulnerable.
These extracts have been used by people for centuries, so it’s not a risky, new-fangled invention out of a laboratory. But what is new are two big studies — with people, not mice!
Remember I said that researchers had uncovered the secret to making yourself practically “fat-proof”?
Well, that’s exactly what they found when they did those ‘real world’ studies. Those extracts are the key to natural weight loss.
And that caught the attention of Dr. Mark Stengler.
Dr. Stengler is a true pioneer in the field of natural health. And when he read all the research and poured over all the studies, he knew exactly what had to be done. So he went to work creating a comprehensive formula, one that could finally let you be a “loser!”
Dr. Stengler’s formula, called SlimSuccess, contains the full amount of the extracts from the studies — the ones that help zap the fat-protecting protein. But he didn’t stop there.
He also included an extract that comes from saffron, which has been shown to help reduce the urge to snack and have almost the same effect on your mood as your favorite comfort food does — only without the calories!
If you don’t already know, Dr. Stengler is a colleague of mine. We’re both published by NewMarket Health. But I hope you know that I wouldn’t be telling you about this new formulation if I didn’t believe it could help change your life.
