1) Refined grains

2) Soft drinks

3) Fast food

High intake of simple carbohydrates is linked to depression. And eating carbs makes you crave carbs, so it just sets up a vicious cycle.

Of course, carb intake is not the only source of holiday blues. But curb the carbs and you’re more likely to be of good cheer.
