What’s in a chicken nugget? You might not want to know.
Well, this has the makings of a VERY unhappy meal…
Recently, researchers worked up the courage to examine the contents of chicken nuggets under a microscope.
If you’re thinking, “Uh oh,” you’re right. It’s going to get ugly.
The nuggets were purchased at two national fast food chains that are unnamed. But you can imagine.
You can also probably imagine what the researchers found…
Nugget One was about half muscle meat. Too bad you can’t eat just that half. The other half contained traces of blood vessels, nerves, skin, internal organs, and fat.
Yum!
Nugget Two contained even less muscle meat — just 40 percent. Bonus features included cartilage and bone fragments.
Unfortunately, it looks like the only real chicken involved in this whole thing was the researchers who refused to name the restaurants.
