Would you eat a chicken nugget made in China? You might if nobody tells you where it’s from.
I’m sure you’ve seen your kids or grandkids chomping on their beloved chicken nuggets..
Let me ask you this…
How fast would you snatch that 6-piece away from them if you saw “Made in China” stamped on the side of the box?
Just to be clear…it’s not the box that’s made it China, it’s the chicken nuggets.
As soon as you hear “China,” it conjures up images of bird flu, shoddy manufacturing, tainted baby formula and toothpaste, and the list goes on….
So China might not be the best place to get your food processed.
But you will never know.
That’s because the Chinese nuggets come from U.S. and Canadian chickens. That’s right. We’ll raise the chickens here and ship them to China. The Chinese take them to a factory, process them, turn them into nuggets, cook and freeze them, and then send them back.
So there’s a big fat loophole that doesn’t require them to label these chicken creations as coming from China. Priceless.
Even General Tso would think this scheme was nuts.
