Here’s something you don’t hear everyday: “Sir, you are pregnant.”
It was probably one of those little keystroke mistakes. No big deal. It’s the kind of simple error that happens every day.
Most go undetected. Some cause confusion. But there are those that might make a guy wonder if he’s getting the best medical care.
Doctors treated a 71-year-old Oregon man for abdominal pain. Later, this notation appeared on his paperwork…
“Based on your visit today, we know you are pregnant.”
We can assume he did NOT see that one coming.
I wonder if somewhere in Oregon a pregnant woman is just finding out she has a hernia and an enlarged prostate.
