Bitter sweet

Your standard grocery store milk contains traces of pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, antibiotics, and Bovine Growth Hormone.

So what’s the one thing you could add to that noxious brew to make it even worse?

Aspartame!

That’s right — the dairy industry wants to include this notorious chemical sweetener in milk products. Why? To hear them tell it, they’re just thinking about the kids. They want to use aspartame in flavored milks to “promote more healthful eating practices and reduce childhood obesity.”

Awww! Isn’t that thoughtful? And oh, by the way, they’ll sell a ton of Aspartame too.

Oh and before I get into why this is such a dangerous idea, let me share one more detail. They don’t want to mention Aspartame content on carton labels.

Well of course not! That would be like saying… “Milk. Now made with potentially hazardous chemical junk!”

Unfortunately, that junk does something unexpected when mixed with milk.

Double double toil and trouble

CDC adverse event reports suggest a possible link between Aspartame use and headaches, behavioral changes, depression, and seizures.

The results of animal research are even more frightening. Those studies indicate an association between Aspartame and cancer, premature birth, and weight gain. That’s right — weight GAIN.

But all these problems might be magnified when Aspartame is taken with — yep! — milk.

According to one brain chemistry expert, milk buffers stomach pH. And that allows simple proteins, like Aspartame, to pass through undigested and enter the blood stream.

In one of the 15 Aspartame studies the FDA called “pivotal,” all monkeys given medium Aspartame doses in milk suffered seizures.

But never mind all that EVIDENCE. The FDA is now on the verge of approving Aspartame use in milk. But there’s a little more to it than that.

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) and the National Milk Producers Federation (NMPF) have petitioned the agency to “amend the standard of identity” of milk. They actually want to REDEFINE what milk is. That way, they can use Aspartame, but they don’t have to tell you about it on product labels.

Typically sneaky, right? But wait. It gets worse…

Aspartame would primarily end up in flavored milks, which are mostly consumed by kids.

Ugh! It’s despicable!

The public has about 70 days to submit comments to the FDA. If you’d like to add your two cents (as I have), just go to fda.gov.

This is a rare opportunity to say, “NO!” to Aspartame.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
