If you cope with restless leg syndrome (RLS), you may have tried certain drugs to calm the jitters.

Or you may have gone the non-drug route with supplements of magnesium, potassium, and calcium.

Or you may have quit drinking coffee–a steep price to pay, but it does work for some.

If you tried all that and nothing worked…you might try a little whoopee.

In a case study that appears in the April 2011 issue of Sleep Medicine, a 41-year-old man experienced significant relief of RLS symptoms with sexual activity at bedtime.

Solo or with a partner–either way worked.

Researchers at Brazil’s Federal University of São Paulo believe that it’s not what happens down there that provides RLS relief, but rather what happens UP there–in the brain.

RLS is a neurologic disorder in which dopamine hormone imbalance sometimes plays a role.

An orgasm naturally produces an abundance of dopamine. That’s why Parkinson’s disease drugs that release dopamine are sometimes successful in treating RLS patients.

Unfortunately, some of those Parkinson’s drugs prompt out-of-control behavior, such as gambling or sexual addictions.

Taking care of dopamine release on your own at home is clearly much less risky and less expensive. But precautions are still in order. Side effects may include a short person who calls you Mommy or Daddy.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
