Why change your antidepressant drug? Here’s a reason you might not have imagined
It’s one of my guilty pleasures. Every two weeks, I get a mani/pedi.
It’s usually the same group of women in there, chatting away.
When I can, I tune it out. But last week, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
“Yeah, I’m on a new anti-depressant now. I felt fine taking the old one but Thi (the nail technician) didn’t like what it was doing to my nails. So I got my doctor to change it.”
Hmmm…I usually let Thi pick my nail color but my prescription drugs???
Then again, she probably spends a lot more time with this woman than the doctor that chose the original scrip did.
