I recently heard a rumor that some universities now require all female students to receive the Gardasil HPV vaccine.

That’s pretty horrifying, but I’m happy to say that after an hour of online searching I couldn’t verify this. Many colleges and universities have put Gardasil high on their list of recommended vaccines, but I can’t find any schools that actually require the vaccine.

Still, individual reports of – let’s call it “strong encouragement” – are not unusual.

Here’s one of those reports, which I received in an e-mail from an HSI member named Shawna.

“My sister too has been having her doctor downright bullying her to try to take the Gardasil shot, even though she is in college and nineteen, and yes she does have sexual activity on occasion which make the very use of Gardasil useless.

“They still pushed and pushed, driving her to the point of being very upset in the Doctors office that they would not listen to her rejections of taking the shot. Even tried to get my Mother in on it and pushed her to get my sister to accept the shot. My Mother of course said no, and that it was my sisters decision, they even tried to prod around to see if they could somehow get my Mom to be a candidate for something, including trying to possibly get her to take the Gardasil shot. Can you believe it!

“Needless to say, they will be changing Doctors in the future, and to top it off, it was a female Doctor trying to force this on them, which I figured a woman would at least have a little more sense than that, sadly reminds me of a man’s behavior as they can be when they become Doctors. Thanks for the video I had sent it on to them.”

It’s very gratifying to know that the Gardasil video I made may have helped this young woman stand up to a bullying doctor.

If you missed the video, you can find it at this link.

I hope e-Alert readers will continue to share the video with parents and young girls who may only know Gardasil through Merck’s feel-good TV advertisements. This is a potentially lethal vaccine that still isn’t widely recognized as dangerous.
