The moment your cholesterol starts creeping up, every mainstream doctor tells you the same thing.

You have to take a statin… and there’s no other option.

And countless Americans have suffered through brutal side effects, like muscle damage, brain fog, liver stress…and even an increased risk for diabetes.

But what if statins were NEVER your only choice and the entire $19+ billion statins empire is propped up by one big LIE?

Well, if you’re looking to try something different…

And if you’re hoping to improve cholesterol and blood pressure WITHOUT terrifying side effects

All for as little as 19 cents a day

You’re in the right place.

What if one of the most powerful tools for stubborn cholesterol and blood pressure was not locked up in a lab or hatched by big drug corporations?

What if it came from something as simple, and as ancient, as sugar cane wax?

Today, we’re digging into policosanol — a compound extracted from sugar cane wax with a growing body of research behind it.

Policosanol isn’t a single molecule — it’s a family of long-chain fatty alcohols (mostly octacosanol) found in the wax that naturally coats sugar cane stalks. These waxy components were first isolated decades ago and have been studied, especially in Cuba and parts of Latin America, for their effects on cholesterol and blood pressure.

We first told HSI members about policosanol years ago. And we already know it helps with cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, and inflammation. But a recent study is showing us just how much.

In a 12-week randomized clinical trial published in The Journal of Clinical Hypertension, 100 adults with prehypertension took 20 mg of policosanol daily…

While the other 100 took a placebo (sugar pill).

Neither the patients nor the doctors knew who got policosanol and who got placebo while the study was being done (this makes the results more reliable).

First they looked at cholesterol.

Policosanol improved:

  • “Bad cholesterol” (LDL-C)  by about 23.5%
  • Total cholesterol dropped about 14.5%
  • “Good cholesterol” (HDL-C) went up about 5.8%

These numbers are close to the average improvements you’d see with a statin.

But…unlike statins, the improvements didn’t stop there.

When measuring systolic blood pressure – the top number:

  • People taking policosanol went from about 127 to 119 mmHg.
  • While the placebo group stayed about 125 to 126 mmHg.

For diastolic blood pressure – the bottom number:

  • The policosanol group went from 82 to 77 mmHg.
  • And the placebo group stayed around 82 to 81 mmHg.

These numbers are BIGGER than what you’d see with a statin.

AND policosanol did all of this without serious adverse side effects.

This isn’t a temporary fix.

It’s metabolic support that works differently from anything you’ve been offered at the pharmacy.

For people who:

  • Can’t tolerate statins
    • Still have stubborn cholesterol
    • Want blood pressure support beyond another prescription

Policosanol offers a safe, natural, and surprisingly powerful option.

iHerb offers a 20 mg capsule (the same amount used in the study) for just 19 cents a serving.

If you’re tired of the same old cholesterol game…

If you’re ready for a different path that actually supports your body instead of just masking a number…

This is one to pay attention to.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
