25-Year FRAUD Exposed: Shady “Safety” Study Duped MILLIONS of Americans
You know what really gets my blood boiling?
Finding out that a “scientific” study regulators relied on for 25 YEARS to approve a chemical you eat EVERY SINGLE DAY was actually written…

And they just admitted it.
In November 2025, the journal Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology quietly retracted a landmark 2000 study that concluded this chemical poses no health risk to humans.
Why the retraction?
Because corporate employees GHOSTWROTE it. The whole thing.
Then slapped some scientists’ names on it and called it “independent research.”
And for 25 years, government agencies around the world—including the EPA—used this fraudulent study to justify keeping this product on the market.
You’ve been eating it. Your grandkids have been eating it. It’s in your breakfast cereal, your bread, your oatmeal.
And the “science” that said it was safe? Written by the corporation profiting from every sale.
I’m talking about Roundup—specifically glyphosate, the most-used herbicide in history.
Internal Monsanto emails revealed in 2017 exposed the whole scam.
One email from 2001 shows Monsanto scientist Katherine Carr asking if the “team of people” at Monsanto who worked on the Williams paper “could receive Roundup polo shirts as a token of appreciation for a job well done.”
Read that again. They ghostwrote a fraudulent safety study—one that would be cited by regulators for decades—and celebrated with POLO SHIRTS.
Meanwhile, glyphosate was being sprayed on everything. Corn, soybeans, wheat. It’s in your breakfast cereal. Your bread. Your oatmeal.
And the foundational study claiming it was safe? Pure corporate propaganda dressed up as science.
The retracted study, according to the journal’s editor, was “based solely on unpublished studies from Monsanto” and ignored “multiple other long-term chronic toxicity and carcinogenicity studies” that were available at the time.
Translation? They cherry-picked Monsanto’s own data, ignored everything else, and declared victory.
Some of the “authors” may have even received undisclosed payments from Monsanto, the editor noted…
That’s not science. That’s a paid advertisement masquerading as peer-reviewed research.
Researchers from Harvard found this ghostwritten paper was in the TOP 0.1% of citations among all academic papers discussing glyphosate. Government health agencies around the world cited it “without caveat”—even AFTER the 2017 revelations exposed it as fraud.
It shaped policy. It shaped public perception. It kept Roundup on store shelves and in farm fields worldwide.
All based on a lie.
This isn’t one bad apple. This is a SYSTEM designed to protect corporate profits over public health.
Monsanto (now owned by Bayer) didn’t just ghostwrite studies. Internal documents show they manipulated the scientific record, influenced regulatory agencies, interfered in peer reviews, and PAID front groups to attack scientists who raised concerns about glyphosate.
And they’re STILL fighting. Thousands of farmers and groundskeepers have sued Bayer, claiming Roundup gave them cancer.
Bayer’s response? Beg the Supreme Court for immunity.
So what does this mean for YOU?
Glyphosate is still in the food supply. It’s STILL being sprayed. And the regulatory system that’s supposed to protect you? It’s been compromised by corporate-funded “science” for decades.
Buy organic when possible. Wash your produce thoroughly. Demand transparency about what’s being sprayed on your food.
Because clearly, you can’t trust the studies. You can’t trust the regulators. And you sure as hell can’t trust corporations to tell you the truth.
Twenty-five years. That’s how long this fraud went unchallenged.
How many other “safety studies” are sitting out there right now, ghostwritten by the companies profiting from them?
