Folks, forget ghosts and goblins today.

The real fright is coming from inside the exam room—a doctor defending dangerous ultra-processed foods while decades of research show they’re slowly killing us.

A prominent physician argued recently in MedPage Today that we shouldn’t “vilify” ultra-processed foods. That laws keeping them out of schools might cause “more harm than good.”

You can’t make this up. Mainstream medicine is now defending junk food—and doing it during the same week kids will haul home bags of artificially dyed, sugar-loaded candy.

Let me show you the REAL horror story… the one Big Food would do ANYTHING to cover up.

A 2024 umbrella review analyzed HUNDREDS of studies involving nearly 10 MILLION participants. Ultra-processed food consumption showed:

  • 50% higher risk of dying from cardiovascular disease
  • 55% increased risk of obesity
  • 40% higher risk of type 2 diabetes
  • 41% increased risk of sleep disorders
  • 20% higher risk of depression
  • 21% greater risk of death from ANY cause

That is IRREFUTABLE evidence of harm. But sure—let’s not “vilify” these products. Let’s keep spoon-feeding them to our grandkids and hope for the best.

And just to drive the point home, another massive study of more than 300,000 Europeans found that every 10% increase in ultra-processed foods raises diabetes risk by 17%.

Yet this doctor is calling for “nuance.” Because, as they say, “not all ultra-processed foods are bad.”

Sound familiar? That’s straight out of Big Tobacco’s playbook.

“Some cigarettes are safer.” “Light cigarettes aren’t as bad.” “We need nuance.”

It’s the SAME manipulation—just repackaged in a lab coat.

More than half of Americans’ calories now come from ultra-processed foods – and that’s EXACTLY why we’re so much sicker than previous generations. We’re sick because of:

  • Sugar-laden cereals marketed to children
  • Processed meats packed with nitrates
  • Artificially colored candy (hello, Halloween!)
  • Sodas destroying metabolic health
  • Frozen dinners swimming in chemicals

Food companies don’t just make ultra-processed foods—they design them to be addictive.

Added sugars, fats, and chemicals hijack your brain’s reward system and keep you coming back for more.

They’re not accidentally unhealthy. They’re DESIGNED to make you sick—and to keep profits sky-high.

And here’s where it gets rich: while defending these lab-made concoctions, some doctors are attacking real food.

They call eggs, meat, and dairy “fat- and cholesterol-laden”… yet defend the same chemically preserved, artificially colored cereals driving our health crisis.

That’s not science—it’s spin. A distraction meant to make you fear real food while giving Big Food a free pass.

Because in their world, a bowl of sugar-laced, plant-based “puffs” somehow beats an organic egg.

And that’s ideology masquerading as medicine… from the same people who are always telling us to “follow the science.”

Well, the “science” links ultra-processed foods to higher cancer risk, obesity, and “multimorbidity”—developing heart disease, diabetes, and cancer all at once.

There is ZERO room for “nuance” here.

Don’t buy it. The medical establishment is defending Big Food’s profits, not your health—or your grandkids’ future.

Feed your family real food. Organic vegetables and fruits, grass-fed meats, pastured eggs, wild-caught fish, nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains prepared traditionally.

If it comes in a bright box with ingredients you can’t pronounce, it’s not food—it’s a chemistry experiment.

This Halloween, the scariest monsters aren’t in costume. They’re wearing white coats—and defending the very products destroying American health.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
