A cancer diagnosis is terrifying.

And if you’re like most people, your doctor will immediately push the Big 3: chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.

The problem?

These treatments don’t just target cancer cells—they damage your body in ways that can last for years.

A new study on breast cancer survivors just confirmed what we and natural health experts have been saying all along…

Chemo and other aggressive treatments can leave you physically worse off than before.

The study, published in JAMA Network Open, followed 2,566 women with breast cancer and compared their health to women of the same age who never had cancer.

The findings were disturbing:

  • Within two years of treatment, physical health declined significantly in those who had chemo.
  • After five years, those who had chemo were even worse off—with lasting damage that didn’t improve.
  • Women who received only endocrine therapy (like tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors) had short-term declines, but their health rebounded after two years.
  • But for those who had chemo? The damage was long-lasting—if not permanent.

And this isn’t just about breast cancer. Chemotherapy is well-known to weaken the immune system, destroy gut health, and increase the risk of secondary cancers.

Yet Big Pharma keeps pushing it because chemotherapy drugs are a multi-billion-dollar industry.

And chemo isn’t the only questionable treatment.

Radiation therapy can cause:

  • Severe fatigue that can last for months (or years).
  • Permanent damage to surrounding tissues—leading to heart disease, lung issues, and nerve pain.
  • Increased risk of secondary cancers (the very thing it’s supposed to prevent).

And surgery? While sometimes necessary, cancer surgery often spreads more cancer cells than it removes.

A 2017 study in Science Translational Medicine found that tumor removal can trigger the body to release growth factors—actually feeding any remaining cancer cells and making them more aggressive!

You won’t hear your oncologist talking about these risks—because the Big 3 are big business.

Chemotherapy… over $100,000 per treatment cycle.

Radiation therapy… over $50,000 per round.Cancer surgeries… anywhere from $30,000 to $100,000.

That’s why many doctors push these treatments without even discussing alternatives.

If you’re facing cancer, you deserve to know all your choices—not just the ones that make money for hospitals and drug companies.

While every case is different, many natural approaches have shown promise in supporting the body’s ability to fight cancer.

Some people explore:

  • High-dose vitamin C therapy—which may act as a natural chemotherapy alternative.
  • Ozone therapy—used in some European clinics to oxygenate the body and weaken cancer cells.
  • Metabolic therapies—like the ketogenic diet, which may starve cancer cells of their primary fuel source: glucose.

The bottom line is—cancer treatments shouldn’t make you sicker than the disease itself.

Before you say “yes” to chemo, radiation, or surgery, ask questions. Get second opinions. Explore your options.

Because when it comes to cancer, Big Pharma’s best interests may not be the same as yours.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
