That daily grind of balancing meds, monitoring glucose levels, and calculating every carb grows exhausting for those with diabetes.

And yet blood sugar highs still persist, slowly chipping away at your health. And that’s despite adhering to your doc’s prescriptions.

Maybe its time to ask… has Big Pharma’s pill fixation failed you?

Well, before resigning yourself to relentless upward arrows, there’s a surprising new player which promises BETTER glucose numbers.

Turns out a simple addition to your oral care routine could be the blood sugar support you’re looking for…

Japanese researchers instructed diabetics with high levels of periodontopathic bacteria—the type that exacerbates glycemic issues—to add mouthwash gargling, three times a day, to their routines.

After six months, the chlorhexidine rinse significantly suppressed the most damaging bacteria compared to water swishing alone.

This microbial shift then correlated to notable A1c improvements.

In other words, killing off the bacteria in the mouth that disturb blood sugar levels led to big improvements in long-term blood sugar control.

Patients who were most diligent about using the mouthwash saw the best results. And those starting off with especially high A1c levels (poor blood sugar control) experienced the most significant decrease from using mouthwash.

Now medicated rinses certainly don’t replace foundational type 2 diabetes care—diet, exercise, and beyond. But this discovery highlights how adding a simple step to your oral health routine could go a long way in helping your numbers.

So don’t dismiss your oral health… in fact, we already know the health inside our mouth is tied to many areas of our health. (Read more about it here.) And blood sugar appears to be no exception.
