Arthritis relief on your Thanksgiving table?
Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope that you get to spend plenty of quality time with friends and family.
One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions is running in our local Turkey Trot 5K—it’s a great way to work up an appetite for Thanksgiving dinner!
But if you suffer from ARTHRITIS—getting out for a run today is probably the last thing on your mind.
Well, what if I told you there’s a natural remedy for arthritis pain waiting for you on your Thanksgiving table?
Cranberries are a Thanksgiving Day staple. And many folks also rely on them as a safe, natural remedy for urinary tract infections (UTIs).
But a study published in the journal Nutrition says they can help you END arthritis pain!
This specific study found that women who drank close to two cups of low-calorie cranberry juice per day for three months reported REDUCED symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis (RA)—specifically, fewer swollen and tender joints.
And, they showed lower levels of the antibodies which attack healthy cells and cause devastating damage and inflammation around your joints!
While the exact mechanism behind this action is still unknown, it’s likely related to cranberries’ impressive number of antioxidants, particularly the flavonoid quercetin (which is known for reducing harmful inflammation).
And you could see the SAME benefits for yourself.
All you’ve got to do is load up on cranberry.
Today, that might mean scooping a little extra cranberry sauce onto your plate… and tomorrow, that might mean indulging in tart, tangy leftovers…
But for the rest of the year, you can always turn to cranberry juice or a daily cranberry supplement.
If you opt for juice, though, you’ll want to follow one simple rule: Watch the sugar.
Like most commercial fruit drinks, cranberry juice is often loaded up with a ton of additional sweeteners and sugar—so do you best to find a variety as natural and unaltered as possible.
To a pain-free Turkey Day,
