It’s so close, you can practically TASTE it…

The goodness of a hearty Thanksgiving dinner is just a little over two weeks from today…

We all look forward to that big, decadent meal each year… but much of the good stuff can also lead to heartburn or acid reflux.

But that doesn’t mean you need to have chalky antiacids on standby this Thanksgiving… because we have a natural secret to help stave off any Thanksgiving heartburn TODAY!

Those of the Hindu faith consider amla (Emblica officinalis) to be “supremely holy.”

In fact, Hindus dedicate an entire holy day to the fruit, known as Amalaka Ekadashi, one of the main celebrations of Holi—a the festival of colors.

But it’s more commonly known as Indian gooseberry. And it can help do wonders for your digestive system, which we could all use a little help with during the holiday hustle and bustle.

To start, multiple animal studies found that Indian gooseberry acts as an antidiarrheal, prevents muscle spasms in the intestines, and helps heal and thwart stomach ulcers.

But for those cases of severe gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)—also known as heartburn—human studies show that Indian gooseberry slows down heartburn frequency and severity.

In fact, researchers discovered that taking two 500-mg tablets of amla extract twice daily for 4 weeks led to significant reductions in the severity and frequency of heartburn episodes and overall “regurgitation” (the BURNING).

Indian gooseberry doesn’t eliminate ALL stomach acid (which is good because we NEED some stomach acid)… but it helps reduce how much stomach acid seeps back up into your esophagus—equaling LESS heartburn.

Look for Indian gooseberry (or amla) in extract form at your local health food store. But be sure to talk to your doctor about it first, especially if you have a history of GERD.

To ending the burning sensation,
