You’ve probably seen a slew of headlines around drugs that can potentially “treat” Alzheimer’s disease.

But here’s the truth:

There’s not a lab-concocted drug out there that can viably—and safely—wipe out Alzheimer’s.

But that doesn’t mean you or a loved one can’t take step to DETECT the disease early…

Because the earlier it’s found, the better your chances of slowing it down.

And thanks to new science, you may soon be able to identify if you’re at risk from the comfort of your own home.

According to findings recently presented at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference, finger prick tests could soon help detect, diagnose, and monitor Alzheimer’s in its very EARLY stages.

Just how accurate is this at-home finger prick test?

Well, according to the data, these blood tests (which are still in the research phase) deliver 85% accuracy in detecting Alzheimer’s.

Meanwhile, conventional methods of diagnosing Alzheimer’s early (MRI, cognitive tests, physical exams) generally yield 55% accuracy.

That’s a pretty big difference!

Like I said, this blood test is still in the research phase and is on track for FDA approval in the next 1-2 years before it would be available.

However, these initial results are promising and offer some hope in the early detection of Alzheimer’s.

In the meantime, you don’t have to wait for a drug—or this blood test.

A recent study published in the journal Neurology identified seven healthy habits – dubbed “Life’s Simple 7” that can reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s by nearly HALF (especially for folks carrying genes associated with Alzheimer’s).

These are simple lifestyle steps that proactively target INFLAMMATION – one of the key triggers of Alzheimer’s. You can read more about the findings here.

We will continue to monitor the progression of this blood test. But if you have a history of Alzheimer’s in your family—or are showing the early signs of the disease—continue to work with your doctor on the best approach for care and prevention.

To early Alzheimer’s detection,

Sarah Reagan

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
