Trouble sleeping? It could fuel a FATAL disease
Who DOESN’T like a good night’s sleep?
Solid sleep helps your body recover and recharge… plus, it makes you FEEL better the next day.
Unfortunately, the flip side to good sleep is INSOMNIA—the tossing, turning, and helpless feeling of being wide awake.
And insomnia won’t just leave you feeling like a zombie the next day… it’s also potentially fueling a higher risk of a fatal disease according to a new study.
But I have tips on how to get better sleep AND fend off this disease at the same time.
A study out of Virginia Commonwealth University says folks with symptoms of insomnia carry a GREATER risk of suffering a STROKE.
The symptoms of insomnia can range from mild to severe, but in general these include:
- Difficulty falling asleep
- Struggling to stay asleep
- Waking up too early
- Not being able to return to sleep after waking
- Not feeling rested in the morning
Unfortunately, the study found that even carrying a FEW of these symptoms increased stroke risk up to 51%!
YIKES!
Fortunately, I have some tips for solving potential sleep AND stroke problems.
If you’re having trouble sleeping, look into a quality melatonin supplement. This is going to help you get into that optimal sleep zone for sound rest.
As for stroke prevention—it all starts in your GUT. Studies have found that probiotics help fuel the good bacteria that can eliminate a gut byproduct associated with stroke victims.
If you’re new to taking either melatonin or probiotics, talk to your doctor before supplementing. And, be sure to only take the recommended dosage on the product label.
