“Popular” brews fend off 2 deadly diseases?
Go ahead. Rattle off some of the “popular” drinks that are synonymous with summer?
Lemonade? Maybe even an ice-cold beer?
Sure, those scream Americana. But today I’ve got the scoop on two other drinks – that you can enjoy all year long and in different forms – that can arm you with significant protection against two, potentially DEADLY diseases.
This is news you’re gonna want to hear!
According to a study published in in the journal PLOS Medicine, drinking coffee AND tea in the total amount of 2-3 cups per day can lower your risk of dementia by 28%.
AND it can even lower your stroke risk by 30%!
That’s right… both coffee and tea combat two of the most life-altering diseases out there!
Numerous studies have identified the health benefits of drinking coffee and tea separately … but this study is aimed to identify the healing powers of drinking BOTH beverages.
In fact, the study authors found that drinking coffee and tea separately continues to help your body fend off both dementia and stroke… BUT when folks drinking coffee AND tea throughout the day, their protection went up significantly.
And even though it’s warm outside, it’s still a good time to partake in your daily coffee and/or tea.
Consider drinking a piping hot cup of Joe when you wake up… or sip on some tea while watching the morning news.
Just remember – no matter when you drink them – both coffee and tea contain caffeine. So, if you have a sensitivity to caffeine, you’ll need to be mindful.
Also remember that the study found that a combination of coffee and tea amounting to 2-3 cups per day did the trick… so be sure not to overdo it.
To the powers of coffee and tea,
