My dad is an avid golfer (even today).

When he was in his 50s, he could wallop his drives off the tee… outdriving many of his friends that were years younger than him.

But as the years went by, he slowly started to lose distance and his golf swing felt sluggish

I remember him telling me…

“I HATE getting old!”

Now, he’s still playing a lot of golf… but he’s using lighter, easier-to-swing “senior” clubs so he can stick with it.

Yes, it’s normal to lose some strength as you age.

But for millions of Americans over 50, their muscles and strength are deteriorating and they’re becoming weaker by the day.

Thing is… it has NOTHING to do with ‘getting OLD.’

Here’s the shocking truth and how you can stop it

Muscle weakness later in life is often caused by a condition called sarcopenia.

If you haven’t heard of it, sarcopenia is actually quite common.

But the real mystery is ‘why’ you could get it.

According to research, sarcopenia is caused by an imbalance between signals for muscle cell growth and teardown signals.

Cell growth processes are called “anabolism,” and cell teardown processes are called “catabolism.”

This imbalance can lead to your body becoming RESISTANT to normal muscle growth signals… thus resulting in rapid muscle “loss”.

Factors like a sedentary lifestyle, nutrition, inflammation, and even stress can all accelerate your chance of developing sarcopenia. And severe cases can even lead to a decrease in overall life expectancy.

But there is good news.

There are two simple steps you can take to fight sarcopenia! Starting TODAY.

The best thing is to stay active.

And no, you DON’T have to start a grueling exercise routine.

Even just taking daily walks has been found to prevent and even REVERSE sarcopenia. One study found that adults over the age of 65 that stuck to a walking routine for six months actually increased their overall muscle mass!

Beyond getting up and moving, consider taking a vitamin D supplement. Studies have found that vitamin D deficiency is common with sarcopenia.

Be sure to have a conversation with your doctor if you are concerned about your strength levels.

And don’t give up on your golf game, either!

To aging gracefully,

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
