Folks, another “new” diet with plenty of PROMISE is making the rounds…

With researchers saying it could SLASH your risk of heart disease by 10% — in just TWO MONTHS.

I’ve read the data and can confirm that this isn’t some “fad” diet…

But I can also tell you that, despite its positive benefits for your heart… it’s still missing something BIG.

Today I’m going to paint the bigger picture to ensure you’re not missing out…

It’s called the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet.

It’s designed to be the complete OPPOSITE of the typical Western diet which is loaded with sodium and unhealthy fat.

Instead, DASH focuses on eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables that are chock-full of potassium, calcium, and magnesium.

Researchers from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center found that the DASH diet can cut the heart disease risk scores by about 10% over an eight-week period.

I certainly won’t argue with those results. And truthfully, any diet that minimizes processed JUNK is of course going to lower your blood pressure and be good for your heart.

But there’s something missing from DASH…

MEAT!

There’s absolutely ZERO mention of meat. And, if you’re a regular reader, you’ll know that meat provides nutrients that are critical to powering your heart.

Sure, you can cut out all meat and become the poster-child for vegetarianism or veganism. But doing so isn’t going to magically save your heart, either!

In fact, recent studies have found that vegetarians and vegans have significantly lower levels of ubiquinol than folks who eat meat regularly.

Ubiquinol is a vital compound that promotes heart health by helping provide the energy needed to POWER your heart.

A lack of ubiquinol could lead to:

  • Fatigue
  • Muscle issues
  • A weakened immune system, and
  • Increase your risk for other age-related diseases…

One found that plant eaters on average had 23% LESS ubiquinol than meat eaters!

Here’s the takeaway…

Diets like DASH aren’t bad… but neither is eating meat!

Eating organic, grass-fed meats is a great way to get vital nutrients in your body without worrying about unnatural by-products or hormones… and many can be found in your local grocery store.

You can also find grass-fed meats at many local farms or butcher shops in your area.

To a well-rounded diet,
