Varicose veins can be tricky to define… but you DEFINITELY know them when they you see them!

Most folks are EMBARRASSED to show their legs in public because they are covered in bulging, discolored varicose veins…

But while you may not want anyone else to see those veins, they’re definitely something you need to keep a CLOSE eye on!

Because it could mean you could have a debilitating condition called chronic venous insufficiency (CVI).

And when left untreated, this condition could lead a reliance on a cane or walker… or a complete loss of independence!

But before you outfit yourself with an ugly compression stocking… or rush to have the issue repaired on an operating table… I’ve got a better solution that can not only help you look better… but feel better, too.

A little-known member of the parsley family, gotu kola grows and thrives in hot, humid areas of the world like India, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

Gotu kola has very long, almost “vein-like” stems that allow the herb to suck water directly from the ground without relying on a free-flowing water source.

Ironically, it’s gotu kola’s complex vein system that mimics exactly how it can help strengthen your veins and blood flow – which is critical to fending off CVI.

Gotu kola contains a chemical called triterpenic fraction of Centella asiatica (TTFCA). Studies have found that TTFCA helps naturally stimulate your body’s production of collagen and elastin – two connective tissues that strengthen the internal lining and walls of your veins.

Studies have also found that gotu kola helps improve venous insufficiency – a condition in which your veins have problems sending blood from your legs to your heart. It can be caused by varicose veins and can also contribute to the unsightliness of those veins.

In one study, researchers found that folks who took gotu kola extract twice daily for eight weeks experienced significant improvements with severe venous hypertension, ankle swelling, and lipodermatosclerosis (a chronic inflammatory condition characterized by hardening of the skin on the lower legs).

Gotu kola can also help you engage in those everyday activities that are often dangerous to folks with CVI.

Take flying on an airplane for example. Long periods of sitting, increased air pressure, and lack of movement associated with air travel can trigger additional health issues for folks with CVI.

But a study found that when gotu kola was taken before long-distance airline flights (as well as the day of and two days after) folks saw significant reductions in edema, ankle swelling, and other symptoms related to superficial venous disease and varicose veins.

The bottom line?

Gotu kola strengthens your veins, helping to improve your overall blood flow. And when that happens, your risk of CVI not only plummets, but over time, those dreadful veins can slowly dwindle away.

Gotu kola supplements come in many, convenient forms… including capsules, teas, and even alcohol-free topicals.

If you have varicose veins – or CVI – be sure to talk to your doctor about the best option for you.

To better veins,

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
