SWEAT to STOP cancer’s spread (72%?!)
Big or small…
Benign or malignant…
Aggressive or non-aggressive…
Cancer simply cannot be compartmentalized.
But there’s one thing that’s critical to ANY cancer diagnosis…
Stop it from SPREADING!
Because no matter what the cancer “is” … the second it starts shifting to other parts of the body is when the odds of beating it become stacked against you.
But a new Israeli study has discovered a way to put the odds back in YOUR favor.
(The best part? It’s NOT surgery, chemo, or radiation!)
Metastatic cancer is any cancer that spreads from its site of origin to another part of the body.
And unfortunately, it’s responsible for up to 90% of ALL cancer deaths here in the States!
But researchers from Tel-Aviv University say there’s a way to reverse course…
By getting in your CARDIO.
It’s no secret that staying active is one of the best ways to stave off cancer (in some cases, by as much as 35%).
But this latest study has found that getting aerobic exercise – even for just a few minutes a day – reduces the risk of metastatic cancer by 72%.
How?
It turns out that that the increased glucose (sugar) consumption of internal organs sparked by aerobic exercise helps reduce the amount of energy available to tumors.
And the less energy tumors have to live off of, the less chance they have to spread.
If you’re undergoing cancer treatment, I understand that exercise isn’t top-of-mind… heck, you may not even have the energy to do it!
But, even just getting out for a 10-15-minute walk around the block is considered “cardio” and can make a difference.
Listen to your body and only exercise as much as your body can tolerate. Be sure to talk to your doctor about how to best incorporate exercise into your routine – especially working around any current treatments.
