Who doesn’t want to live as long – and healthy – of a life as possible?!

After all, the longer you live the more time you get to spend with the grandkids, take that trip of a lifetime, or start the hobby you’ve always wanted to try.

If you’re eating healthy and staying active, you’re already headed in the right direction.

But what if I told you that some jaw-dropping new research has found that a “vision marker” could actually measure – even calculate – your DEATH risk?

I know it sounds crazy, but today I’m here to share all the stunning details… including what you can do to protect your longevity.

We’ve all heard the old adage that your eyes are the “windows to your soul.”

But it turns out that your eyes could also reveal how LONG you will live!

According to a study recently published in the British Journal of Ophthalmology, researchers have discovered a link between the biological age of your retinas and your DEATH risk.

The study found that the membrane at the back of your eye contains light sensitive cells that begin deteriorating during middle age.

The study concluded that people whose retinas were “older” than their actual age were MORE LIKELY to die over the next decade.

In fact, lead researchers found that just a small, one-year increase in the age gap in the biological age of your retinas versus your actual age could lead to a 2-3% rise in the risk of death from any cause or a specific cause!

I get it… this all sounds morbid. But there is a silver lining to all of this.

First, this sheds light on the well-documented fact that your eyes – specifically your retina – are a reliable indicator of the overall health of your body’s circulatory system and brain.

Second, this means that regular testing and exams of your retina may be used to help compliment tests and exams done on your heart and brain.

In fact, study authors believe this latest finding about testing the age of your retinas could lead to a routine screening tool for a host of life-threatening illnesses – including Alzheimer’s disease.

More work (and research) continues to be done on this eye test and how it relates to your overall longevity.

But in the meantime, it serves as a great reminder to not skimp on regular, routine eye exams as part of your overall wellness.

And if you need a little extra help in the vision department, there are plenty of natural supplements out there that help support healthy eyes – like pycnogenol.

Staying on top of your eye health can identify any potential red-flags not only for your vision – but for other ailments as well… including steps you may need to take.

So, be sure to keep seeing your eye doctor as part of the aging process

To seeing clearly into old age,
