When you’ve got digestive troubles, it feels like such a SHAME to eat out at a restaurant…

Because you’ve got to leave so much food behind on your plate.

Any more than that and… well, it just goes AGAINST you

It’s not much better at a family dinner… because you don’t want to have to EXPLAIN why you’re not going back for seconds.

Whether it’s an Easter ham or a Sunday roast… you WISH you could enjoy delicious foods…

But you KNOW how you’ll SUFFER from problems later.

That meal will come back to HAUNT you… one way or another!

If you’ve GIVEN UP on having “good digestion”… I hope you’ll reconsider.

Because there’s an ancient trick to TAMING digestive upset…. and so many of the ICKY symptoms that come along with it.

Here’s how a sour berry could make mealtime a little SWEETER.

Those of the Hindu faith consider amla (Emblica officinalis) to be “supremely holy.”

In fact, Hindus dedicate an entire holy day to the fruit – known as Amalaka Ekadashi, one of the main celebrations of Holi, the festival of colors.

Also known as the Indian gooseberry, this sacred fruit is a key part of the ancient practice of Ayurvedic medicine

Which refers to as the “remover of all diseases.”

I recently shared with you right here in eAlert how it could be a POTENT part of your diabetes-fighting arsenal

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how it could help support your metabolic health.

Traditionally, it’s used to help STIMULATE digestion by TRIGGERING the production of gastric juices…

WITHOUT letting your acid levels go overboard.

In fact, in a 2018 in vivo study out of Iran, taking amla was associated with a 50% reduction in acid reflux symptoms

SLASHING heartburn frequency

And EASING severity

It also helps REGULATE poop problems… finding a PERFECT balance between going too much (a.k.a. diarrhea) and not going nearly enough (a.k.a. constipation).

In one animal and in vitro study out of Pakistan, amla helped HALT diarrhea by RELAXING spasm activity

And by ZEROING IN on one of the root causes of too much poop… called “muscarinic receptors.”

Some research even shows how it could help with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)!

If you don’t live near an Indian specialty store, you may find it IMPOSSIBLE to find fresh amla fruit or juice…

But you SHOULD be able to find amla in supplement form at your local health food store or online… where it might also be labeled as “Amalaki” or its scientific synonym, Phyllanthus emblica.

Ayurvedic practitioners sometimes combine amla with another digestive health-supporting herb, giloy

You can also find amla as one of 3 fruits in the Ayurvedic formula triphala… which has been shown to help FLUSH OUT toxins

And it’s one of SEVERAL ingredients in the Ayurvedic herbal-mineral blend for digestive support, called Arogyavardhini Vati.
