Whether you’ve got one “bad ear”… or you just can’t hear as clearly as you used to…

Hearing loss is something that lots of older folks learn to live with.

Turn up the TV a little louder… learn to read lips… maybe even get a hearing aid…

And you can “get by” just fine… right?

Unfortunately, hearing loss isn’t always JUST about age…

Or ears getting “worn out” after years of being exposed to loud noise.

It could be a sign that something more serious could be around the corner.

In a new study out of London published in JAMA Neurology, researchers found that hearing loss could help predict the risk for a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis.

It could be farther down the road… as long as 5 years away…

But it could be just around the bend… less than 2 years away.

Parkinson’s disease is better-managed if you can get a handle on it early… and take measures to support your neurological health.

But so many folks don’t know about their risk… or don’t get diagnosed… until they actually develop SERIOUS red flags…

Like a tremor…

Or even cognitive decline.

Now, the hearing loss associated with Parkinson’s might not be EXACTLY what you’d expect. It’s not necessarily what we might joke about as “going deaf.”

It could have more to do with how your brain PROCESSES what your ears are hearing…

Like recognizing familiar music…

Or understanding the tone someone uses when they speak to you.

This isn’t the ONLY sensory impairment that’s been associated with Parkinson’s…

As many patients with the disease find that their vision changes… including a LOSS of sharpness or even DOUBLE vision.

And a 2018 study found that Parkinson’s risk could be increased by 2.5X with an impaired sense of taste or smell that had no explanation.

Paying attention to these signs early on… BEFORE motor dysfunction sets in… could help head Parkinson’s off at the pass.

If you’ve already developed a tremor… or other obvious symptoms of the motor disorder… I’m sure your doc has already discussed your drug options with you.

But it may be worth it to ALSO look into some alternatives, like… this drug-free “ear trick”

this low-frequency “sound therapy”

a 5,000-year-old “seed trick”.

Fortunately, losing some of your hearing doesn’t mean you’ll DEFINITELY develop Parkinson’s…

And, depending on the culprit, it could even be REVERSIBLE.

Because some causes of hearing loss… like tinnitus… could arise because of a nutrient deficiency or mineral imbalance.

When that’s the case, supplementing with taurine or magnesium could work wonders.

In other cases, getting yourself off drugs that are known to be “ototoxic” – or TOXIC to your ears – could help RESTORE hearing.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
