The nurse puts the cuff around your arm… waits a few seconds… and then scribbles something down.

It’s a little high today, she says. How are you feeling?

Of course, you’re NEVER happy to be in the doctor’s office… especially not after battling traffic to get there.

That could be enough to send your blood pressure SOARING.

But if your BP readings are consistently on the high side… even when you take them at home…

You might have hypertension.

And that’s more serious than an occasional stressed-out spike.

Your doc might be all-too-eager to send you to the pharmacy for an Rx BP med…

But there are OTHER ways you could try to manage hypertension FIRST.

One I’m about to share with you is a simple “kitchen switch” – a sodium-free seasoning you could add to your meals for a wallop of flavor!

Spice trick to RELIEVE tension

You’ve probably heard how folk singers have mentioned thyme (Thymus vulgaris) as an offering of remembrance… and a way to WARD OFF melancholy…

At least, along with fellow herbs parsley, sage, and rosemary.

But that’s not its only symbolic role.

Legend has it that medieval knights would often receive leaves of thyme as a gift for their bravery…

And that Roman soldiers would BATHE in thyme to BOOST their courage!

But given thyme’s medicinal actions… maybe what it REALLY did was simply CALM THEM DOWN so they could focus on the battle at hand.

You see, in addition to its respiratory benefits…

Thyme also could help BRING DOWN elevated blood pressure.

And that’s NOT just folklore.

In one animal study published in 2016, thyme extract significantly reduced the blood pressure readings of rats with hypertension…

And it appeared to work primarily via its antioxidant action…

As well as by helping to keep blood vessels WIDE (a.k.a. vasodilation).

One of its key compounds is the polyphenol rosmarinic acid (also found in rosemary)… which helps NEUTRALIZE free radicals.

This antioxidant compound also INHIBITS angiotensin-converting enzyme… which tends to NARROW blood vessels.

Sound familiar? It’s the EXACT same mechanism behind come of Big Pharma’s ACE inhibitor meds!

Thyme also contains thymol, which has been shown in studies to help RELAX arteries… helping to keep the pressure off as well.

Now, thyme essential oil used as aromatherapy has actually been shown to RAISE blood pressure that’s too low…

So if your BP is a bit on the high side, stick to drinking thyme tea… or adding fresh thyme leaves to your dishes.

You’re not limited to Mediterranean thyme, either – because different species of wild thyme found throughout the world have been found to offer the same blood pressure benefits.

Just check with your doc to make sure it won’t interact with any drugs or supplements you might already be taking…

Especially ones that might also lower BP.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
