Friend, you’ve probably read a lot already about the pee problems that strike men as they get older…

Especially with conditions like enlarged prostate.

And you may have heard of overactive bladder… which could send you RUNNING for the nearest toilet with the EMERGENCY urge to pee without warning.

But there’s something else that impacts the urinary health of women in particular…

Especially older gals… and especially those who’ve gone through childbirth.

Friend, I’m talking about LEAKAGE.

The type of urinary incontinence I’d like to talk about today is known as “stress incontinence.”

That’s when you “pee a little” after laughing, sneezing, coughing, or doing anything else that might stress your urethra (like exercise).

Doing those “Kegel exercises” (a.k.a. squeezing the muscles “down there”) will help you hold your pee in some cases…

But stress incontinence has NOTHING to do with the pelvic floor muscles you can FLEX.

Fortunately, there is a way to keep your underpants dry for LONG stretches at a time… and keep you OUT of those embarrassing “adult diapers.”

Even better – it’s NOT a drug!

Urine luck

Stress urinary incontinence arises because the smooth muscle of your urethra (a.k.a. your “pee tube”) WEAKENS as you age.

It’s perfectly normal…

And it’s more severe among women who’ve delivered babies vaginally.

When you’re younger, your urethra can stay NARROW and TIGHT… keeping your urine inside until you’re ready to voluntarily let it out.

As you get older, the urethra gets a little LOOSER… and even a little force can accidentally let some pee out.

This can happen even if you’ve JUST gone to the bathroom… and it feels like you’ve EMPTIED your bladder.

And you can lose even MORE “whoopsie” pee if you’ve already got a FULL bladder… and feel like you’ve got to go to the bathroom.

But fortunately, there’s NO NEED to carry spare underwear with you all the time… waste all those pads and pantiliners (which I bet you thought you were THROUGH WITH after menopause)… or sit on a towel during long car trips.

Because there’s a simple device that can RESOLVE stress incontinence… for HOURS at a time!

It’s called a vaginal pessary – and it’s essentially a plastic ring or loop that you insert into your vagina. (Some come with an applicator, just like a tampon.)

Once inside, the ring expands… and PUSHES AGAINST your urethra, CLOSING the gap and keeping it from SAGGING.

When it’s working properly, you can even go to the bathroom normally while it’s inside of you.

And when you’re done, you pull it out (sometimes with the help of a string, which you throw away after one use)… and clean the plastic with soap and water to reuse the next time.

Now, it’s not a cure – because it only works while you’re using it.

And because every woman is different, the OTC versions may not fit everyone comfortably.

That’s why it may be a good idea to talk to your doc about getting custom fitted for one… or another type of shape or product material that may feel better. (Yes – there are MULTIPLE options, some available only by prescription.)

If your case is severe, your doc may recommend a type of pessary that’s more permanent and designed for longer-term use… which only he can insert and remove.

This is an alternative you need to know about if you’re on the older side… and more serious interventions like drugs and surgery aren’t the safest options for you.

Besides, much of the science recommends a pessary as a FIRST line of treatment… especially since it’s safe for most women to use.

Now, there are risks when you’re inserting ANYTHING “down there”… and pessaries aren’t an option for you if you’ve ever experienced toxic shock syndrome.

And in some women, any foreign object may increase the risk of infections.

But if you used to use tampons during your period with no problems… and you’re not squeamish about using a device “down there” (especially since you’ll want to take it out before having sex)…

A vaginal pessary might be a good drug-free option for you.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
