There’s no WORSE deal in medicine than the one given to folks battling Parkinson’s disease.

They’re not treated so much as punished!

The main drugs given to desperate patients are known to cause SERIOUS compulsive disorders… from problem gambling to risky sexual behavior.

But a stunning new report shows how the nightmare doesn’t end there.

A newer set of meds given to a growing number of Parkinson’s sufferers has an even WORSE “side effect.”

This one won’t just HURT you…

And it won’t stop at RUINING your life.

It could literally KILL YOU — by increasing your chance of hospitalization and death.

Ready for the most INSULTING part of this?

The drug in question is ostensibly for a condition often blamed on the disease… but in some cases, is actually CAUSED by the treatment!

The deadly drug risk facing Parkinson’s patients

Parkinson’s might be best known for the infamous shakes that develop as the disease progresses.

But it’s really so much MORE… and so much WORSE… than that.

In addition to tremors… it causes a RANGE of muscular disorders

As well as cognitive strugglesspeech problemsmood disorders… and sleep issues that include LITERAL nightmares.

And those nightmares don’t always END when you wake up. Up to 60% of patients eventually develop hallucinations and delusions.

To supposedly “treat” this form of psychosis, Big Pharma has come up with a drug called pimavanserin.

But in reality, the benefits are LIMITED… and the risks are THROUGH THE ROOF!

One new study finds the drug will raise your odds of hospitalization by 24% in just 30 days.

Bad? Sure. But hang on, this gets WORSE.

That same study finds the drug increases the risk of DEATH by…

  • 20% in 90 days
  • 28% at 180 days, and
  • 56% after a year.

Maybe the TRUE “psychosis” is in any doc still prescribing this poison!

What makes this TRULY offensive is that in at least some cases, the delusions and hallucinations aren’t caused by the Parkinson’s… but by OTHER meds!

So, if you or a loved one are battling these problems… have a doc go over your meds BEFORE doing anything else.

I wish I could tell ya that I had a magic answer for Parkinson’s overall.

Best I can offer is 2 actions:

  1. Like dementia and other conditions, this is very much a modern problem – which tells me it has a modern cause, potentially toxins in food and other sources. Get your diet down to as basic and natural as possible, and (with your doctor’s permission) eliminate as many medications as is safely possible, even if it’s just temporarily, to see if there is any improvement.
  2. There’s a promising compound called PQQ (or pyrroloquinoline quinone) that might help protect against neurodegenerative diseases including Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s by restoring lost mitochondrial function. Some research suggests that combining PQQ with resveratrol and quercetin may deliver the best results for mitochondrial health.

Speak to your doc to see if this combo might be worth a shot in your situation… and while you’re there, ask about low-dose naltrexone, which has also shown promise for at least some of the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
