CBD, or cannabidiol, comes from the marijuana plant… but unlike the psychoactive plant chemical THC, it WON’T get you “high.”

CBD products DO have incredible safety profiles

And using CBD has helped lots of folks “mellow out” from occasional bouts of stress and sleeplessness.

That’s not all…

Because CBD is finally emerging from its “taboo” status to become the focus of lots of other scientific studies… as well as real-world usage.

And the latest development is how this medicinal compound could help beat back hypertension.

Now, that makes sense when you consider that stressful circumstances could cause your blood pressure to SKYROCKET.

So anything that relieves stress could also theoretically help bring your blood pressure down.

The science backs this theory up when it comes to CBD.

In fact, in a 2017 study out of the UK, a SINGLE DOSE of CBD was enough to lower participants’ systolic BP (or “top number”) by 6 points – even while they were at rest and NOT stressed out!

Six points may not sound like much…

But given how FOCUSED most mainstream docs are on hitting target numbers… it could mean the difference between managing your BP naturally and being put on BP meds!

Even better, the CBD didn’t SUPPRESS the study subjects’ cardiovascular activity.

There was ZERO negative impact to their cardiac output… which means CBD simply helped relieve the pressure without actually reducing the amount of blood being pumped through the participants’ bodies.

Preliminary results from the latest study on CBD’s effect on BP confirms how quickly it could work… with significant reduction in systolic and diastolic numbers, as well as mean arterial pressure, over the course of just 24 hours.

According to that study’s lead author, “Many existing drugs used to treat hypertension require several weeks of treatment and/or combination dosing before they produce comparable reductions in blood pressure.”

Talk about a “quick fix”!

Here’s where CBD’s impact on BP control gets really interesting.

A 2020 study out of Poland revealed that CBD functions as more than just a “chill pill” when it comes to hypertension – that it doesn’t just RELAX your mood to lower your BP.

It also helps RELAX and WIDEN your arteries!

Now, in the first study I mentioned, participants consumed a single dose of 600 mg of CBD.

In the second study, the dosage was 150 mg of a patented CBD extract called “DehydraTECH-CBD,” taken 3X daily. Those clinical trials are still in progress.

If you’re already on BP meds, you won’t want to combine them with CBD. It could work TOO well… and make your blood pressure drop to dangerously low levels.
