Stiff, aching joints REVIVED by a ‘mushroom cure’?
You wake up in the morning… and you can barely move.
Your joints are SO stiff… it feels like you need an oil can for them, just to get going!
And it doesn’t get much better throughout the day, either.
Because if you DARE sit in the car for too long… or go see a movie…
You’re back to “square one”!
Your joint pain may be SO bad, in fact, that you don’t even want to TRY to move around more than you absolutely HAVE to.
Friend, you shouldn’t have to live with so much discomfort… and so little independence.
Fortunately, we’re always discovering NEW ways to reap the benefits from Mother Nature’s cures…
And there’s one emerging ingredient that’s showing A LOT of promise when it comes to joint health.
Forage THIS for joint relief
The substance L-ergothioneine is an amino acid found in fungi… like certain types of mushrooms.
It’s earned the reputation of being a kind of “longevity vitamin“… even though it hasn’t OFFICIALLY joined the “alphabet” of more commonly used and widely known vitamins like A, B, C, D, E, and K.
It helps fight aging on a CELLULAR level…
And when it comes to your joints, its anti-inflammatory action could help EASE pain… and IMPROVE range of motion.
Unfortunately, our levels of ergothioneine DECREASE as we get older… especially after hitting 60…
Which could mean we need to BOOST our supplies.
Here’s what makes ergothioneine so special…
Our bodies were DESIGNED to embrace it!
That’s right — people produce a type of protein that can transport ergothioneine to exactly where it’s needed most.
This protein is SO highly specific to this amino acid… it’s like a lock and key!
And that means ergothioneine could ZERO IN on your aching joints.
In fact, researchers are calling ergothioneine a “joint-specific antioxidant“!
It appears to work, at least in part, by BEATING BACK the oxidative damage and degradation of a cartilage-building substance called hyaluronan.
In one small study, participants with moderate joint pain could move better after just 6 weeks of supplementing with ergothioneine.
This antioxidant also seems to “play nice” with other CRUCIAL antioxidants… including ones that also support joint health like vitamins E and C and glutathione.
In fact, the presence of ergothioneine seems to help those other antioxidants work BETTER!
There’s a lot we still don’t know about ergothioneine… but I’ll be keeping my eye on new developments and sharing them with you as they emerge.
The highest amount of ergothioneine appears to be present in porcini mushrooms… but oyster mushrooms and even plain ol’ white mushrooms will contain more significant amounts of it than foods that aren’t mushrooms.
Fortunately, cooking doesn’t seem to DRAIN them of this compound.
You can also get ergothioneine in supplement form as part of mushroom complexes or on its own. Choose one from a quality maker you trust.
To delivering help where it’s needed most,
