Tiny ‘nutrition bomb’ shuts hunger DOWN… and GUARANTEES satisfaction
Don’t you just LOVE the advice that tells you in order to lose weight… you just have to EAT LESS?
It’s like they expect you to just IGNORE those feelings of hunger…
When your body thinks it’s STARVING!
Friend, I have good news for you today…
Because you DON’T have to work on your “willpower.”
But you CAN find a way to eat less… WITHOUT feeling deprived.
It’s just a matter of eating the RIGHT ingredients – and I’ve got one today that you’ll want to start adding into your meals RIGHT AWAY!
Harvest THIS to counteract hunger
Pine nuts are so incredibly nutritious… Native Americans would RELY on them as a major food source as far back as 10,000 years ago!
Not only are they PACKED with protein…
But they also contain CRUCIAL vitamins and minerals!
Here’s what most folks DON’T realize about pine nuts, though…
They’re NOT nuts!
They’re actually seeds harvested from pinecones.
Now, many folks who are trying to lose weight actually AVOID nuts and seeds because of their high calorie count.
But while pine nuts CAN deliver a substantial amount of energy when you eat them…
They can also SUPPORT healthy weight loss.
And that’s because of the special qualities of what comes along with those calories.
Take, for instance, the fiber content of pine nuts. It’s insoluble fiber – which means your body CAN’T digest it.
So, you can’t “get fat” from it… but that’s not all.
As that fiber RETAINS its bulk in your belly, it helps you FEEL FULL!
It’s no wonder that folks all over the world have eaten pine nuts in times of famine and food rationing.
There’s something else in pine nuts that helps SUPPRESS appetite – and that’s a natural fatty acid called, pinolenic acid.
Pinolenic acid triggers the release of 2 “hunger-fighting” hormones in your body that BANISH hunger:
- cholecystokinin (CCK)
- glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1)
Both of these work in your gut to BEAT BACK the hunger response… and tell your body it’s time to STOP eating.
They also HIT THE BRAKES on gastric emptying… which helps WARD OFF feelings of hunger…
And TRIGGER the secretion of certain digestive enzymes that help ensure you’re getting the most out of the food you eat, rather than “empty calories.”
That can help move things through your lower gut… and OUT of your body… too.
And guess what?
Pinolenic acid is ONLY found in pine nuts… and pine nut oil!
In one study out of the Netherlands, post-menopausal women who were overweight supplemented with pine nut fatty acids… and reported their desire to eat was 36% lower, compared to placebo!
And in another study, pine nut oil’s ability to SUPPRESS appetite took hold in as little as 30 minutes… and lasted for as long as 4 hours.
Now, you can incorporate more pine nuts into your diet. The Italians love to make pesto from the nuts, which they call “pignolis.”
While pinecones from 20 species of pine trees produce pine nuts, they’re most commonly harvested from just 4 types:
- European stone pine (Pinus pinea)
- pinyon (or piñon) pine (Pinus edulis)
- Korean pine (Pinus koraiensis)
- Siberian pine (Pinus sibirica)
Proceed with caution if you have any kind of tree nut allergy…
And beware that certain folks have a rare genetic predisposition to losing their sense of taste after eating pine nuts.
Fortunately, although it may be ANNOYING, it’s not HARMFUL. And it tends to resolve itself after a couple of weeks – as long as you don’t keep eating the pine nuts.
You can also find pine nut oil as a culinary ingredient – but, like olive oil, it has a low smoke point. So, it’s better to use as a drizzle or in pesto rather than for stir-frying.
To take it like a supplement, you can pour the oil into empty capsules, which are available at health food stores and online.
