If we’ve learned anything over the last year, it’s how SNEAKY and INSIDIOUS viruses can be.

Many viral infections have sent scientists on a WILD goose chase for a cure… or even a treatment…

And too many viruses DEFY all vaccines!

Antibiotics DON’T work against viral pathogens – but that hasn’t stopped the mainstream from TRYING and trying AGAIN.

It’s been time for something different for a LONG time.

Fortunately, there’s an antimicrobial hero that can DEFEAT viruses… WITHOUT contributing to drug resistance.

It’s been harvested from the jungles of Peru since the time of the most ancient civilizations

But your doc may LAUGH at you if you even dare MENTION it to him!

Well, we’ll see who’ll have the LAST LAUGH.

The cat’s meow

Cat’s claw (Uncaria tomentosa) is a woody vine from the Peruvian rainforest with curved – or “claw-shaped” — thorns.

The tribes of the Andes call it “uña de gato”… and they’ve used its bark as medicine since the time of the Incans.

Hence its nickname, the “life-giving vine of Peru.”

But cat’s claw is SO miraculous… it’s even gotten MAINSTREAM acceptance as a medicinal herb since the 1990s.

You’ve read before right here in eAlert how cat’s claw could help RELIEVE arthritis discomfort

HEAL peptic ulcers

And even ERADICATE Lyme disease.

But in addition to being a game-changing antibacterial

Cat’s claw is also a potent ANTIVIRAL!

That’s why it’s often used as an herbal “cure” for the common cold.

But it even works against the NASTIEST and HARDEST to treat viral infections…

Like shingles (caused by the virus Herpes zoster)…

And cold sores (also caused by a strain of the herpes virus)…

In one study out of Brazil, taking cat’s claw helped EXTINGUISH the inflammation of cold sores… BETTER than the pharmaceutical drug it was tested against!

Now, modern research has established SOLID evidence as to how cat’s claw can BOOST immunity

With the ability to ENHANCE natural defenses by as much as 60%.

But that’s not all…

Because in a 2014 study, Brazilian researchers found that cat’s claw also SABOTAGES the herpes virus’s ability to ATTACH to healthy cells.

And if a virus can’t LATCH ON… you can’t get INFECTED!

You can find cat’s claw as a liquid extract, in capsule or tablet form, or as a tea at your local health food store or online.

Another cat’s claw species with therapeutic value is Uncaria guianensis, best-known for its wound-healing abilities.

But Uncaria tomentosa is the best-studied… and most commonly available… species.

Products may highlight one of the active compounds found in cat’s claw, called uncarine.

But it’s recommended that you choose a supplement of root and bark extracts that have been standardized to contain at least 3% alkaloids (including uncarine) and 15% phenols.

Cat’s claw supplements may also contain compounds called tetracyclic oxindole alkaloids (TOAs)… which might carry some toxicity…

So, you may want to consider a “TOA-free” form of cat’s claw, called samento.

To CLAWING your way to a viral cure,

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
