You’re STRUGGLING for air… and sometimes you might STOP breathing altogether.

You’re not sick… and it’s not congestion that’s blocking your airways.

It’s obstructive sleep apnea – a TERRIFYING condition that doesn’t just wake you up REPEATEDLY as you GASP for air.

It’s been linked to cognitive issuesheart issues… and even problems with making your “down there” parts work correctly.

In some folks, a physical abnormality could be OBSTRUCTING airflow during sleep

But in others, the culprit isn’t quite so obvious.

Recent research reveals, however, one contributing factor you may have NEVER thought of.

Fortunately, it’s something you have COMPLETE control over.

Get your D for ZZZZs

I’ve shared with you before right here in eAlert how carrying extra pounds is sometimes associated with sleep apnea…

But it turns out it’s not necessarily because of the physical ramifications of a larger body size or the presence of fat surrounding your respiratory passages.

Because as we now know, obesity can DRAIN your body of its nutritional reserves

Including a hero vitamin that turns out to be CRUCIAL in keeping apnea at bay.

I’m talking about vitamin D.

You see, vitamin D is a fat-soluble nutrient… which means the more adipose tissue you have, the more vitamin D your body can LOCK AWAY.

That might sound like a GOOD thing – but when vitamin D is stored in fat, your body can’t actually USE it.

It needs to be CIRCULATING throughout your body in order to do any good.

Now, the latest meta-analysis points out that a vitamin D deficiency could simply be a symptom of sleep apnea… and not necessarily a CAUSE of it.

But we know how vitamin D levels are linked to sleep quality even in folks WITHOUT apnea.

And D could certainly help support healthy breathing by BANISHING inflammation… and NEUTRALIZING oxidative stress.

But there’s something else…

Keeping your vitamin D levels from dipping too low can also reduce your risk of metabolic diseases… including metabolic syndrome.

And obesity is a hallmark of metabolic syndrome.

So, what we’ve got here is a kind of chicken-and-egg scenario.

Which came first: The D deficiency or the disease?

If you ask me, all that matters is that BOTH could lead to sleep apnea.

And that means you may need to supplement with vitamin D AND keep your weight in check.

Look for a vitamin D3 supplement from a quality maker you trust at your local health food store or online.

And to make sure your body can USE it rather than LOSE it… combine it with vitamin K2.

To uninterrupted breathing,

Melissa Young

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
