Your head hurts… your throat is raw… and you may just have thrown out your back.

It may FEEL like you’ve got nothing left to cough up

Yet the HACKING persists!

It’s uncomfortable… unpleasant… and EXHAUSTING.

And NOBODY wants to be around you when you’re making that kind of a racket.

But you can SUPPRESS your hackingbarking… or wheezing cough. All you’ve got to do is brew up the right kind of herbal tea.

Here’s how.

A ‘dark horse’ cough cure?

Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) is a member of the daisy family that gets its name from the shape of its leaves… which resemble the hoof of a horse.

Its scientific name is derived from the word for cough (“tuss”) and the word for chase (“ago”).

And this antitussive herb is so renowned as a cough suppressant throughout the world, it’s often called “coughwort” (or “cough herb”).

And it seems especially good for coughing conditions that take hold and won’t let go without a fight, like asthmabronchitis… and even whooping cough (a.k.a. pertussis).

One of the keys to its success is the presence of a slippery substance called mucilage, which forms a protective film that helps to relieve irritation of the mucous membranes in your throat.

And as you know, coughing can be a vicious cycle – the MORE you cough, the more you HAVE to cough.

Coltsfoot could help BREAK that cycle.

Another secret weapon it’s got is an anti-inflammatory compound known as tussilagone.

That red… scratchy… and swollen throat you get from coughing is likely CONSUMED by inflammation!

And although you can’t SEE it, the same is probably going on somewhere in your chest.

Now, there are CENTURIES of traditional use backing up the effectiveness of coltsfoot in relieving cough…

But the scientific research is there, too.

In a 2016 animal study out of China, a mixture of compounds isolated from coltsfoot REDUCED the amount of coughing by almost 62%.

Traditional Chinese Medicine calls is “Kuan Dong Hua”…

But in this country, you’ll want to look for a coltsfoot product that’s been certified as containing ZERO pyrrolizidine alkaloids (a.k.a. PA-free), like the subspecies Tussilago farfara ‘Wien.’

If you can’t, the good news is that BOILING the herb for tea… as they do in Austria… OBLITERATES a majority of these potentially harmful alkaloids.

To giving coughs the boot,

P.S. Earlier this year, I shared with you a way to reduce the frequency and severity of coughs… with the help of an ancient “warrior root.”

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
