Could this African vine IMMUNIZE your bones against breakage?
If you’re a gal who’s a little on the older side… especially if you’ve already gone through “the change”… I’m sure you’ve got a lot on your mind.
You can SEE the changes in your body when you look in the mirror… and you may even FEEL different, too.
But there’s something else you need to think about – something that might not make its presence known until it’s too late.
I’m talking about postmenopausal bone loss.
You may not be able to sense how your bones are getting brittle…
But once a bone BREAKS, you’ll finally get clued in.
For some older folks, broken bones can lead to permanent disability… and a loss of independence.
And your bones could be getting THINNER and WEAKER right now, setting you up for a future fracture.
Guys, you’re not totally in the clear here. It can ALSO happen to you.
Fortunately, you’re not helpless – because you can help MINERALIZE your existing bone mass to stay strong.
It’s NEVER too late to STOP losing bone… and even BUILD your bone strength.
Here’s one way to do it.
Fractured bones HEALED… 2 weeks faster!
Cissus quadrangularis is a vine that grows in wide open rural landscape of Africa… and has been used in traditional African and Ayurvedic medicinal practices since antiquity.
It’s more commonly called the “veldt grape”…
But the FRUIT isn’t what practitioners of these ancient traditions use as medicine.
Instead, they give a combination of the leaves, roots, and stems to their patients — particularly those with fragile or even broken bones.
In Ayurveda, veldt grape is called “asthisamharaka,” “asthi” meaning “bones” and “samkaraka” meaning “destruction.”
Don’t worry – this African remedy won’t DAMAGE your bones. It could help keep them from getting DESTROYED!
Western scientific research on it dates back to the early 1960s… and helps show why veldt grape is also known as the “bone setter.”
In a 2009 animal study, veldt grape not only REDUCED bone loss…
But it also triggered formation of NEW BONE!
Specifically, the subjects of the study had leg bones that were HEAVIER after treatment with veldt grape… but not BIGGER.
That’s because their bones became DENSER!
That’s given researchers some hope that veldt grape could help folks with low bone mass increase their bone mineral density.
Another study… this one on real people, published in 2013… showed that veldt grape can set the wheels in motion to heal fractures. And it does it by increasing the expression of a certain protein called osteopontin.
But more importantly, the participants FELT better as they began to heal, experiencing reduced pain and swelling!
Some research shows that veldt grape could SHAVE as much as 2 weeks off the time it takes for a bone fracture to heal!
The theory is that veldt grape somehow helps your bone-building cells (a.k.a. osteoblasts) absorb minerals.
Osteoblasts need minerals like calcium… and even sulphur and strontium… to build bone, increase bone mineral density, and heal fractures.
But all the supplements in the world won’t do a bit of good if those minerals can’t get INTO the cells that help you grow new bone.
Studies have experimented with a wide range of dosages of veldt grape extract, from 300 to 3,200 mg daily.
Talk to your doc about what a good starting point might be for you. It’s usually best to start out low and work your way up.
To fracture-free bones,
