Dear Reader,

Why would researchers deliberately give volunteers a chemical already known to be linked to diabetes?

You could say that it was all in the name of science.

But it was more like rubbing the FDA’s nose in the existing evidence: BPA exposure can set you up for type 2.

That’s right, BPA — the plastic additive that’s been grabbing headlines and that you might’ve thought went away.

Well, it hasn’t gone away. And it could put you in the crosshairs for crippling blood sugar woes.

I’ve got a three-step plan to help you dodge this chemically induced form of diabetes, but right now I’m going to share what the latest findings are.

While numerous animal studies have linked BPA to diabetes, this latest research involved giving the chemical directly to PEOPLE!

A diverse group of researchers convinced 16 volunteers to drink a beverage containing BPA.

If that sounds extremely risky, know this: The doses they got were equivalent to what you and I are easily getting several times a day!

After the study subjects took the drinks, their insulin levels were tested. And researchers detected an alarming change in how much insulin was released when they drank the BPA-added beverage — which the researchers said could increase your risk of insulin resistance, a known factor in developing diabetes.

That means that your body needs to pump out more and more insulin just to keep blood sugar levels normal.

The results were compelling enough for a co-author of the study to call it a “path” that can lead right to full-blown type 2.

The real irony here is that while experts are having a cow over the fact that human beings were used in this research, the fact remains that we’re all getting the same daily exposure… perhaps even more!

With so many products having those “BPA-free” labels on them, you may think that the issue has already been solved.

But BPA is still very much around! The only ban was for baby bottles and sippy cups several years ago.

That means that you can encounter it during your everyday routines, like shopping and eating.

And the FDA is still sticking by its story that BPA is “safe at the current levels.”

Fortunately, it’s never been easier to take matters into your own hands. So, here’s a tried-and-true plan to detox yourself out of a diabetes diagnosis:

#1 Don’t handle store thermal receipts, one of the top ways to be exposed to BPA. Remember that your skin can easily absorb it!

#2 Buy as few canned foods as possible — and only when the label clearly states that it’s BPA-free.

#3 Store leftovers in glass containers, and never, ever microwave food in plastic dishes of any kind!

Melissa Young

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
