The mainstream acts as if a stroke is something that could hit you out of the sky one day.

The real cause isn’t from the sky at all. That’s just silly.

But the ground? That’s another story!

The latest science shows how missing out on a key nutrient – one that used to be found in nutrient-rich soil and the foods grown in it – could be directly responsible for stroke, one of the nation’s top causes of disability and death.

This isn’t one of those goofy lab studies on rats or worms or whatever.

You can file this one directly under “news you can use,” because it’s an honest-to-goodness real-world human study that PROVES that boosting your intake of this one critical vitamin via supplement can quite literally save your life by cutting your risk of a stroke.

Get quacking on your B vitamins

Folic acid supplements are so cheap that you can get a year’s supply for about five bucks.

It’s so common that every single vitamin shop, big-box store, chain pharmacy, and retail website sells it.

Yet your doc will never even MENTION it to you! (That is, unless you’re pregnant, which leaves guys and older gals out in the cold.)

But maybe YOU should mention it to HIM — because a new study proves that these insanely cheap supplements can help you prevent a stroke.

Of course, he’ll probably look at your funny and scoff.

He might even say that only a “quack” would tell you to take a folic acid supplement if you’re not pregnant.

All I can say is: Make like a duck and take those supplements!

Yes, folic acid is essential for prenatal health (I should know – I wrote the book on it!), but the latest research finds that those supplements will ALSO cut your risk of a stroke by 10 percent!

And if you have high inflammation, that may increase to as much as 15 percent.

In older folks, low folate can do more than just bump up your stroke risk. It can lead to heart disease, too.

And unfortunately, your levels are almost certainly low.

See, our soil has been sucked flat by factory farms, with chemicals replacing nutrients, leaving most of what’s grown in that dead dirt devoid of vitamins.

Translation: It’s missing folate.

Heck, it’s missing EVERYTHING!

’Bout time to boost that folate, don’tcha think?

There’s something you need to know to make sure you do it the right way – and that’s that a high folate intake can mask vitamin B12 deficiency.

So, when taking high doses of folic acid, I recommend 1,000 mcg of sublingual B12 per day.

And to get the most out of folic acid, I also suggest 100 mg per day of B6. And to make the B6 even more effective, take 400 to 500 mg of magnesium per day as well.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
