Merry Christmas!

I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful holiday with your family and friends.

While you may have decked your halls with boughs of holly, bells, and poinsettias, there are also certain herbs that are very closely associated with the true meaning of today — most especially frankincense.

And considering what modern science is now telling us about the benefits of this amazing plant, it looks like the gifts carried by the Three Wise Men had more to do with health than wealth!

Frankincense, which is actually the resin of the boswellia tree, is a powerhouse natural remedy that we’re learning more good things about every day — especially how it can kill cancer cells!

And the best part is, you don’t have to travel halfway around the world to take advantage of this healing herb.

Herb of wonder

Boswellia is a true miracle!

A gift from Mother Nature that is known to be a potent anti-inflammatory with the ability to boost your immune system… relieve asthma symptoms and arthritis pain… fight infections… and prevent and treat other autoimmune diseases.

And when combined with another powerhouse compound — curcumin (which comes from the spice turmeric) — it’s become known as the “Holy Grail for preventing colon cancer.”

And that’s not all! Boswellia has also been found to be an effective treatment for many other types of cancer, as well as a remedy for the side effects of traditional cancer treatments.

Actually, boswellia (a.k.a. frankincense) has been prized for its healing powers since ancient times. That’s probably why it was among the gifts the Three Wise Men brought to the manger so long ago.

But lately, scientists have been confirming those medicinal benefits.

Several years ago, for example, researchers from Baylor University Medical Center found in a laboratory study that — in just two days! — tumor growth was reduced by a combo of both curcumin and boswellia.

That dynamic duo also curbed the toxic effects of chemotherapy, making smaller doses of chemo more effective, and activated drugs in certain type of colon cancer patients who have a specific gene mutation that had kept them from working.

And unlike most prescription medications, both of those substances are known to be “extremely safe.”

Other experimental research has found that a compound in boswellia called AKBA can effectively kill ovarian, breast, and prostate cancer cells.

Scientists have become so interested in boswellia that researchers at the Medical University of South Carolina are currently conducting a study to test the powers of boswellia on women with up to stage III breast cancer, as well as patients with both early and advanced colon cancer.

You can easily find boswellia in supplement form. Just be sure to select one that’s made using gum resin and also lists a standardized percentage of AKBA.

And on this Christmas, it’s comforting to realize that one of the most promising natural treatments out there is again being rediscovered by the wise men of today.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
