Dow set to cover the land with Agent Orange chemical

Dow chemical is calling it the “most important” product launch ever.

But it looks more like the biggest disaster we’ve faced in a long time.

Just last month, the Department of Agriculture gave the green light for Dow’s brand new “Frankenseeds” — the ones for its genetically modified corn and soybeans — to hit the fields.

But before these seeds of disaster start getting sowed, there’s one more piece to this dangerous puzzle Dow needs to have fall in place.

And the bad news is, it looks like Obama is the only one who can stop it from doing so.

Last month I told you about a double hidden poison about to be added to the food supply.

The first part is the altered DNA of the new seeds that were just approved. The second is the weed killer they were genetically engineered to survive.

Dow makes that too. It’s called Enlist Duo, and it’s a double whammy of both Roundup and 2, 4-D, the chemical that made up half of Agent Orange. It was developed because Roundup use has backfired, creating Superweeds it no longer kills.

When the EPA gives its final blessings to this deadly mix, it will “result in the largest expansion of an herbicide use in more than three decades,” experts say.

And what that will likely bring along with it are scores of new cases of Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer.

Agent Orange earned its reputation by poisoning our Vietnam Vets, and now it looks like it’s ready to poison more of us — including our kids and grandkids.

With Obama the only one who can stand in the way of Dow getting an EPA approval on this toxic threat, we need to oppose it any way we can.

One way is to sign a petition that’s been posted at the “We the People” part of the White House web site.

It currently has over 73,000 signatures of people protesting the approval of Enlist Duo. And I’d love to see it climb to a million…or more.

But this isn’t just about Obama. If we don’t stop it now, its toxic effects will haunt us long after the Obama years are a distant memory.
