Of all the horrors committed by Big Pharma, this is the one they are trying the hardest to hide.

It’s kind of the “third rail” because nobody wants to touch it.

When you see the numbers, you’ll know why…

Untested…unknown…unsafe

The risks of prescription drugs are well documented — except to the single most vulnerable group we have — unborn children.

The reason is obvious. It would be unethical to subject mother and fetus to powerful drugs that could complicate a pregnancy or harm a child with permanent birth defects.

Can you imagine them trying to recruit people for that study?

And yet, doctors regularly prescribe drugs to pregnant women. Just look at these shocking numbers…

* Seven in 10 pregnant women in the U.S. take at least one prescription drug.

* The FDA records show that prescription drug use during pregnancy causes more than 15,000 birth defects every year! (And those are just the ones that are reported as drug side effects!)

The insane use of multiple drugs has become so common that doctors are practically prescribing them for unborn babies!

I think if doctors didn’t make their pregnant patients feel like it’s safe to take drugs, most of them would never consider it. After all, most of them wouldn’t think of giving their toddlers drugs that had never been tested on children.

So unless a drug is needed to save a mother’s life, why would she even consider giving it to her unborn baby?

She wouldn’t.

And her doctor shouldn’t either. Still 70 percent of pregnant women are taking some Rx regularly…without realizing what that can mean for their little one’s future.
