If you said, “Vitamin K2,” you get a gold star. AND strong bones.
In a recent study, 180 micrograms of K2 daily was matched against a placebo. Those in the placebo group had a significantly greater decline in bone mineral density.
Sure, that’s impressive. But it could have been even more impressive.
The RDA for Vitamin K is 65 micrograms for women and 80 micrograms for men. So I’m impressed that the researchers dared to use a dose so much higher than the “norm.”
