The next time you’re in the grocery store, pick out a few items at random. See if you can find even one that doesn’t contain some form of corn, soy, wheat, or sugar.

It’s almost impossible.

And that’s trouble.

Those four are the primary crops that Monsanto and other companies have genetically modified. It may be years yet before we get a real handle on how these GMO ingredients damage our health.

But it’s not just the ingredients in our food that might end up doing us in.

As I may have mentioned once or twice before, Monsanto scientists designed their GMO crops to survive frequent drenchings with Roundup, the Monsanto weed killer. So inevitably, traces of Roundup end up in our food.

The company claims that Roundup won’t harm animals or humans. And apparently that’s true. Technically. But there’s a catch. Glyphosate (the primary chemical in Roundup) can harm bacteria. And bacteria is critical for us to stay healthy.

In a new scientific paper, researchers note that glyphosate can disrupt microbial function. And unfortunately, it tends to do the greatest harm to the beneficial bacteria we need most. This can lead to an overgrowth of pathogens, followed by inflammation.

So…the jury may still be out on just how dangerous GMO foods will prove to be. But not on whether they will be.

It’s not easy to avoid GMOs these days (thanks to another government invasion…on our right to know what we’re actually eating). But there are foods and brands that are definitely GMO-free. You can find out what to eat to minimize your GMO intake here.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
