I actually thought Jim was lying when he told me about DMSO.

He said he googled it and got taken to the American Cancer Society site.

And there he came upon this gem:

As the ACS tells it — researchers halted DMSO studies because of a “possible ability to cause damage to the eye.”

For decades, scientists have extracted DMSO from wood pulp. Trials show that it might improve effectiveness of chemotherapy. And it might also reduce chemo’s toxic effects. That’s why the ACS addresses DMSO use on its website.

In those early trials, DMSO might have been the cause of mild nearsightedness in animals that received massive doses for several months. Obviously, someone was looking for any reason — no matter how flimsy — to shut down DMSO research.

I’ll ignore for one second that “possible damage to the eye” might seem like a small price to pay when fighting cancer. Or that chemo and other cancer drugs do much, much worse.

Yes, I’ll ignore that for a second…

Look…I’m not sure about DMSO for cancer. Essentially DMSO is a “transporter.” So whatever you mix it with gets to the spot much faster than it would otherwise.

How that threatens ACS or the chemo drug manufacturers, I don’t know. But clearly, it does. Or they wouldn’t feel compelled to dismiss it out of hand.

Especially when the one potential side effect they could find pales in comparison to anything on their own labels.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
