The huge leap in ADHD cases over the past decade is no mystery
Shocking? No.
Appalling? Yes!
A new study shows that the number of ADHD cases dramatically increased between 2000 and 2010.
That’s about as surprising as a Mars Rover report that Mars has red rocks.
Specifically, doctors diagnosed about 10 million children with ADHD between 2000 and 2010. That’s a 66% increase over the previous decade!
One study author noted that the “shift” is likely due to increased awareness. And that awareness “may have caused more physicians to recognize symptoms and diagnose the disorder.”
Increased awareness? Riiight. That’s one way to put it.
Or you could put it another way… This shift is completely due to a Big Pharma marketing blitz and the convenience of turning excited children into Stepford children.
I guess that’s the new definition of “awareness.”
