Another name for alternative medicine
He certainly isn’t a household name. And while you may see him on TV, his version of dancing with the stars is his day job.
Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist. He’s also director of New York’s Hayden Planetarium. He’s a frequent guest on many television shows. He has a quick wit and a reputation for making complex science issues easy to understand.
Recently, I spotted this note Tyson posted on twitter. “Q: What do you call Alternative Medicine that survives double-blind laboratory tests? A: Regular Medicine.”
Nice! I am now a confirmed Neil deGrasse Tyson fan!
Hmmm… I wonder why so many other scientists aren’t able to figure that out. Maybe it’s just too easy to understand for some of them.
